JobsOhio Revitalization Program

(Financial Assistance: Grants and Loans)

Provides funding for brownfield clean up activities, which are a key component in brownfield redevelopment. Brownfield redevelopment allows a community to reclaim and improve its lands, making previously developed property viable for new development.

 

Brownfield Revolving Loan Fund

(Financial Assistance: Loans)

Offers below-market-rate loans to assist with the remediation of properties contaminated by asbestos or petroleum. Municipalities, nonprofits, and private entities can apply for program funding to conduct remediation activities at eligible sites.

 

OWDA Brownfield Loan Program

The OWDA Brownfield Loan Program offers low-interest loans for the assessment and remediation of brownfields. The loan is available to local forms of government as well as private entities for assessments, demolition, remediation, and consultant costs.

 

Brownfield Action Plan Program

(Financial Assistance: Grants)

Helps grantees create and implement an action plan for a brownfield-impacted area in their community. The program is intended to help communities build capacity, develop partnerships, gather ideas from the public, and collect and organize the information needed to redevelop brownfields successfully.

 

Tire Amnesty Grant

(Financial Assistance: Grants)

Ohio Dept. Natural Resources

Provides financial assistance to Ohio’s local governments, businesses, schools, state colleges, or public universities, health districts, soil and water conservation districts and non-profit organizations to: design a program to promote sustainable scrap tire collection drives,  sponsor a drop off effort during a specified period of time, or engage in targeted clean up events.

 

Litter Cleanup Grant

Provides grant funds for costs associated and participation in community based litter cleanup and public awareness efforts.
